Job Description:

This 13-week contract in the Cardiac ICU offers an engaging opportunity for registered nurses specializing in critical care. You will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care for critically ill adult patients with altered cardiac function and hemodynamic instability. Your duties include direct patient care, patient and family education, and facilitating smooth transitions across care settings. The role emphasizes leadership through mentoring, quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. The shifts are 12-hour nights, with a rotating schedule covering daytime and nighttime hours, including every third weekend to keep things interesting. Floating to other units as needed ensures a versatile and dynamic work experience, all while applying your expertise in a fast-paced environment.
