Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a medical surgical/stepdown professional for a 13-week contract in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves performing clinical pre-screenings through interviews and phone calls, with an emphasis on preparing patients for their journey through the healthcare process. The assignment features 12-hour night shifts, requiring focus and precision during overnight hours. You'll gain experience working with Epic EMR and may encounter opportunities to assist with neurologic and oncologic care procedures, including titrations of medications like nitro, heparin, and amiodarone. The position demands a minimum of 36 months of recent progressive care or med-surg experience and a current Iowa or compact/unified license.
