Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you in a fast-paced Progressive Care Stepdown unit in Waterloo, Iowa, where you'll provide specialized care to patients with complex conditions requiring close monitoring. The role involves floating across various units including Med Surg, Telemetry, ED, ICU, and post-procedural areas, offering a diverse and dynamic experience. You'll handle critical drips such as heparin, insulin, Lasix, amiodarone, diltizem, and digoxin, confidently reading EKG/ECG rhythm strips and responding to changing patient needs. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts over a total of 13 weeks, making it an ideal opportunity for experienced nurses seeking a rewarding challenge with a mix of autonomy and teamwork.
