Job Description:

Join a correctional healthcare setting as a registered nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry services. In this role, you will float across various Oncology Medical-Surgical units within a secure Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections facility. Your tasks will include managing active oncology treatments, assisting with complex medical procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a controlled environment. With shifts scheduled overnight for 12 hours, you’ll experience a unique rhythm that combines clinical expertise with the demands of a correctional setting. The opportunity to work with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication systems adds to your professional development, while supporting inmates with a range of diagnoses from cancer to respiratory or renal issues.
