Job Description:

Join this night-shift travel nursing opportunity working 12-hour overnight shifts in Weirton, West Virginia. You will be caring for adult patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, falls, and weakness. The role involves monitoring vital signs, performing blood glucose checks, EKGs, applying heart monitors, and assisting with activities of daily living. This assignment offers a chance to work in a setting where nurses handle specific drips like heparin, Bumex, and Lasix, with support from Respiratory Therapy for ventilators and breathing treatments. You’ll collaborate with charge nurses who may take patient assignments on each shift and work alongside nurse aides providing bedside care. The environment emphasizes flexibility, and your experience with a variety of patient conditions and skills in managing drips will be essential.
