Job Description:
Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Columbus, Ohio, for a 13-week contract that offers a balanced schedule with steady weekday shifts. This role involves performing PET/CT scans, including Whole-body FDG, Brain, Cardiac, and Neuroendocrine imaging, utilizing two PET/CT scanners. You'll work primarily on days with 8-hour shifts, handling an approximate caseload of 33 scans daily, with some flexibility required for start times ranging from 6:00 to 9:30 am. The position includes supporting both inpatient and outpatient procedures, with opportunities to work optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks and a manageable evening shift and one Saturday per month. This assignment is perfect for experienced Nuclear Medicine Techs comfortable with IV starts, PACS, and maintaining a smooth workflow in a supportive team environment. First-time travelers are welcome, and your day-to-day activities will include imaging across various cancer-related and neuroimaging cases, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency in a well-equipped setting.
