Job Description:

Join a short-term travel nursing opportunity on the Cardiac Medical Unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. This 13-week assignment involves working 12-hour night shifts in a dedicated cardiac step-down unit that handles patients with various cardiac conditions, including CHF, COPD, and chest pain. You'll perform procedures such as thoracentesis, placement of trachs and chest tubes, and assist with cardiac catheterizations, all while managing telemetry monitors. The role offers a chance to work with advanced equipment like IV pumps and BIPAP machines, and you'll be part of a team with well-established protocols and a focus on bedside shift reports.
