Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a focused opportunity in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit, where you'll experience the rhythm of delivering babies and supporting new families. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, providing specialized nursing care for high-risk pregnancies, including patients with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use history. The role involves titrating medications such as Pitocin, Mag, and Insulin, and reading electronic fetal monitoring strips using the OBIX system. It’s a chance to refine your skills in a setting with four postpartum beds, four LDRP beds, and two OR suites for cesarean sections. This assignment combines technical precision with the rewarding experience of assisting in childbirth, all while operating within a supportive team environment. Expect collaborative scheduling, a busy but fulfilling workload, and the chance to make a meaningful difference during this important time in patients’ lives.
