Job Description:

Join the team at North Alabama Shoals Hospital's JW Sommer Rehab Unit for an engaging travel RN contract. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts in a 32-bed unit that serves geriatric and adult patients recovering from strokes, trauma, or orthopedic/neuro issues. As a vital part of the rehab team, you'll perform procedures such as IV insertions, blood transfusions, and wound care, helping patients regain their independence. The position offers a chance to experience a focused rehabilitation setting with a collaborative environment led by Nurse Manager Stacy Williams RN. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting without the need for float requirements or call responsibilities. Expect to work every other weekend, with guaranteed hours totaling 36 per week over a 13-week period. The dress code features navy or royal blue scrubs, fitting for a professional yet approachable atmosphere.
