Job Description:

Join a dedicated medical-surgical nursing team in Gillette, Wyoming, for a 13-week contract with rotating 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. This role offers a unique opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, from infancy through end of life, with occasional involvement in telemetry, orthopedics, neuro, bariatric, detox, and end-of-life care. You will work in an environment that handles a wide variety of patients, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The assignment includes an initial 8-hour orientation and 30 hours of precept training, with no mandatory floating to other units. Nurses will utilize equipment such as Pyxis medication systems, Meditech, IV & PCA pumps, bladder scanners, wound vacs, and feeding pumps, providing a comprehensive experience in a rural healthcare setting.
