Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract offers a chance to work in a busy ICU setting handling adult and neonatal patients requiring advanced airway management and vent support. As part of a dedicated team, you'll perform treatments such as nebulizers, airway management, BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator care. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex cases involving COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and resp failure. The role involves responding quickly to critical situations, including intubating patients and managing blood gases, all while working with a team that values confidence and experience. While the schedule is structured around 12-hour days with weekends and holidays rotated, the focus remains on delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment—think of it as a relay race with a steady hand on the baton.
