Job Description:

Join this fast-paced ER contract in Omaha, Nebraska, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center renowned for its pediatric certification and comprehensive stroke program. As part of the emergency team, you'll be handling a variety of high-acuity cases including trauma, sepsis, chest pain, and strokes, often managing multiple patients with different needs simultaneously. This role involves interpreting telemetry strips, working alongside physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff, with responsibilities spanning from medication drips to patient stabilization. Expect a lively environment filled with challenging cases that keep your skills sharp and your experience broad. The setting emphasizes teamwork with always a charge nurse present, and you'll also support triage and observation units, floating at times to other ER locations around Omaha.
