Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a busy labor and delivery unit where you'll be working 12-hour night shifts. You'll play a vital role supporting obstetric, postpartum, and antepartum patients, managing common diagnoses like hypertension and diabetes during pregnancy. The position requires at least three years of labor and delivery experience, and you'll be responsible for titrating medications such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia. Expect to work with a team committed to high-quality patient care, following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios. The unit boasts 15 LDRP and 15 postpartum beds, and you'll have the opportunity to troubleshoot equipment like vent and BIPAP machines. Please note, artificial nails are prohibited, and a pass/fail skills exam will be conducted during orientation.
