Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a 13-week contract as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in a specialized burn and trauma unit. This role offers the opportunity to work on a unit that handles adult burn, plastic, and pediatric trauma cases, with a focus on wound care involving anesthesia-assisted procedures and EtCO2 monitoring. You'll be the go-to nurse for managing a 15-room, 26-bed unit, providing care for an average of 22 patients daily. The shift is 12-hour days, and you'll be expected to float within scope to meet the facility's needs. Experience with pediatric patients and wound care procedures is preferred, but first-timers are welcome to apply. This assignment provides a chance to hone your skills in a Level 1 trauma center with a magnet designation, all while enjoying a professional yet engaging work environment.
