Job Description:

Join a specialized Cardiac Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in Rochester, NY, where you'll play a vital role on the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. This 16-week contract offers an engaging experience working with a 43-bed unit that requires adaptability, including floating to other units when needed. Your responsibilities will focus on providing high-level nursing support within a fast-paced setting, utilizing EPIC for charting. The assignment’s unique rhythm offers weekend shifts and the chance to work at least one holiday, with flexible scheduling to meet the unit’s needs. Applicants should have at least 1 year of recent experience in acute med-surg/telemetry and hold an active NY RN license along with AHA BLS certification. Candidates residing more than 50 miles from Rochester are preferred. Be prepared to work charge and attend upon training, ensuring a comprehensive, hands-on experience for the duration of this rewarding role.
