Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in a busy Med Surg unit at a Level II Trauma Center in Green Bay, WI. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing a hands-on approach to general MedSurg nursing with a focus on patients with diverse diagnoses such as pneumonia, oncology cases, and those receiving chemotherapy. You will utilize your skills in IV insertions, wound care, central line management, and EPIC documentation while supporting a team that includes charge nurses and CNA support. The assignment offers a balanced workload with an average of 16 patients per day and opportunities to float within the hospital within your scope of practice. You'll experience a hospital environment equipped with modern technology like EPIC EMR and IV pumps, with the chance to be part of a caring, professional team committed to quality patient outcomes. The schedule is structured in 6-week cycles, with holiday and weekend rotations, and some flexibility around time off requests.
