Job Description:

Work as a Med Surg Registered Nurse on a travel contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico, supporting a fast-moving medical-surgical unit with structured night shifts. This assignment is built for experienced nurses who enjoy variety within a med-surg setting and want to grow with a team that welcomes first-time travelers.

Your night schedule runs 4x12-hour shifts, and you’ll also have the flexibility to choose 36 or 48 hours per week (anything above 48 hours is overtime). The role includes Epic charting, participation with a Rapid Response Team activation, and floating to like units on weekends. Plan for BLS as a requirement, with CPI preferred.

Additional highlights: 1 year of recent experience is required, there is no call, and you’ll complete 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week window. Expect a hands-on night workflow that keeps you engaged from start time through shift handoff.

Expect crisp, cool evenings with mild daytime temperatures and generally dry conditions. Winds can pick up at times, so layers are helpful for comfort while you’re out exploring.
