Job Description:

Join our team as a Med/Surg nurse on a 17-week travel contract at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, giving you the opportunity to experience a variety of patient care scenarios across multiple units, including Orthopedics, Neuro, Oncology, and Acute Care. You'll be the go-to professional during your shifts, managing patient needs in a fast-paced environment with a ratio of 1:6 on the floor. The assignment is ideal for nurses with at least 2 years of experience and one prior travel assignment, who are comfortable floating between units and adapting to changing patient care needs. Expect to collaborate with skilled teams, handle acute conditions like CVA, post-op recovery, and more, utilizing Meditech EMR and managing equipment such as ventilators and monitors. A friendly, professional approach will help you thrive in this challenging yet rewarding setting.
