Job Description:

Join a busy emergency department in La Plata, Maryland, for a 13-week contract as an ER Registered Nurse. This role involves working three 12-hour mids shifts from 11:00 to 23:30, providing acute care to a diverse patient population across all age groups. You’ll navigate a fast-paced environment with complex diagnoses, managing an average of 130 patients daily in a 47-bed ED. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of ER experience or two years if possible, and strong skills in handling a wide variety of cases. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your emergency nursing abilities in a dynamic setting, with every other weekend and scheduled holiday shifts. Floating within your specialty is required to adapt to patient needs, but pre-scheduled on-call is not part of this role.
