Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you as a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be providing specialized care to patients with conditions such as heart failure, chest pain, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, and drug/ETOH overdose. Your responsibilities include managing IV drips like heparin, nitroglycerin, and amiodarone, as well as interpreting EKG strips and passing an online tele-cardiac competency assessment. With a focus on maintaining a patient ratio of approximately 1:5, you'll experience a role that combines technical skill with clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your expertise in cardiac care while working within a supportive team that values your skills and experience.
