Job Description:

Join us as a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse in Charleston, West Virginia, for an engaging 13-week contract on the Post Cardiac Cath Unit (PCCU). This role involves caring for patients recovering from cardiac catheterizations, managing arterial and venous sheaths, and overseeing specialized equipment like TR bands, pacemakers, and defibrillators. Your days will revolve around monitoring vital signs, administering specific IV medications, and supporting patients in their transition from procedural recovery to discharge, typically within 24-48 hours. The unit is fast-paced and requires a detail-oriented RN ready to handle adult cardiac patients with a focus on telemetry and specialized cardiac procedures. You'll experience a mix of challenging cases and collaborative teamwork, all while contributing directly to patient recovery in a lively, technically equipped environment. Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Hourly Rate: $1,558.40 gross per week
