Job Description:

Join the Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVU) team at Enloe Medical Center for an engaging 13-week travel assignment focused on providing specialized nursing care to medium- and high-acuity cardiac patients. As a registered nurse in this 30-bed unit, you will manage pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those recovering from procedures like bypass surgery, pacemaker insertions, and dealing with conditions such as acute myocardial infarction and arrhythmias. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, focusing on complex patient assessments, monitoring, and support for a diverse adult to geriatric population. This role offers a unique opportunity to hone your critical care skills in a facility where patient stability is carefully maintained, and skilled nursing makes a real difference.
