Job Description:

This emergency room nursing role places you in a bustling, urban hospital where high-volume, fast-paced patient care is the norm. You'll be managing ventilated patients and supporting the patient care technician and medic team during 12-hour day shifts. The assignment offers a chance to sharpen skills in a Level 1 trauma environment, with visits averaging around 210 per day. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation training, along with a valid Arizona RN license. Experience in large, urban ER settings with significant patient volume and ventilated patient management is essential. EPIC proficiency is a must, and prior Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. No first-time travelers are accepted, and shifts include every other weekend, totaling four weekend shifts over the 13-week contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-intensity setting that values experienced ER RNs ready to hit the ground running.
