Job Description:

This contract position places you in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department at a top-tier academic medical center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As an RN specializing in emergency care, you will be integral to managing a wide spectrum of trauma and acute cases—ranging from multi-trauma incidents and STEMIs to stroke and burn injuries. Your role involves utilizing your expertise to swiftly assess, prioritize, and respond to high-acuity patients, often in situations where every second counts. The unit’s renovation is ongoing, offering a mix of modern equipment and evolving workflows, which provides a dynamic setting to sharpen your skills. Expect to work 12-hour overnight shifts with a schedule that includes holiday rotations and weekend work, providing a rewarding challenge for seasoned trauma nurses seeking a diverse and stimulating assignment.
