Job Description:

Join our Boise ICU team for a 13-week travel contract that immerses you in high-acuity neuro and medical ICU care. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts in a unit that combines SICU and MICU beds, caring for patients with conditions such as strokes, brain hemorrhages, cardiac bypass, and other complex neuro and cardiovascular diagnoses. While the role is clinical, the environment offers a unique chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced ICU setting, with access to advanced equipment like ventilators and monitoring technologies. The unit operates with a team model that includes charge nurses, resource nurses, RTs, and CNA support, providing a collaborative workspace. As a traveler, you'll contribute to patient stabilization and management, titrating drips like dopamine and insulin, and adjusting ventilator settings—all while working alongside experienced hospitalist and intensivist staff. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to expand your critical care expertise in a vibrant city nestled amidst scenic surroundings.
