Job Description:

Join our team as an ER Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in La Plata, Maryland. This role involves providing critical support in a busy emergency department with 47 rooms, where you'll manage patient care for a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Your duties will include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, administering blood products, obtaining 12-lead EKGs, starting IVs, and caring for central lines. Expect to work 4 nights each week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the flexibility to float within the system and work every other weekend. All required certifications (ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS) must be current. The environment is fast-paced, but your expertise will shine as you handle emergency medications and support patients through their acute needs. This is a rewarding chance to contribute your skills in a well-equipped ER setting.
