Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a large hospital setting in Fort Wayne, Indiana, working 12-hour night shifts. As a MedSurg RN, you will manage a diverse patient population, including those with chronic illnesses, neurological issues, infections, and mental health disorders. Your responsibilities will include patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, utilization of advanced equipment like IV pumps and telemetry monitors, and documenting in the Epic electronic health record. The role offers the opportunity to experience a broad spectrum of general medical and surgical procedures, from managing GI issues to participating in minor surgeries. Expect to float to other medical units as needed, with a focus on delivering skilled, attentive care during your overnight shifts.
