Job Description:

Join a dedicated Neuro ICU team in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts. This role is perfect for experienced ICU nurses who thrive in managing complex neurological conditions, including ventilator management, arterial and central lines, and stroke interventions. You’ll be involved in caring for patients with ventriculostomies, post craniectomy recovery, and administering titratable drips under physician orders. The unit operates with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2, and you'll work alongside skilled charge nurses, a house supervisor, and supportive techs. Orientation includes 20 hours of unit-specific training, so prior ICU experience with neuro or stroke patients will help you hit the ground running. During this assignment, you'll have an opportunity to sharpen your skills in a high-acuity environment while experiencing the vibrant local culture.
