Job Description:

Join a 13-week assignment in the ICU at a reputable facility in Kearney, Nebraska, working 12-hour night shifts. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing adult patients with complex needs, including trauma, cardiac issues, overdose cases, sepsis, post-stent recovery, pacemaker placements, stroke, vascular conditions, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. This position requires titrating various cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation, so your skills and attention to detail will be vital. You will also troubleshoot equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices, with minimal patient care responsibilities other than monitoring and assessment. The role includes self-scheduling for core staff, with some restrictions on block scheduling and sharing schedules with other travelers. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced ICU environment that challenges your critical thinking and technical expertise while enjoying the support of a dedicated team.
