Job Description:

Join a high-acuity MICU team as an ICU Registered Nurse on a travel contract in St. Louis, Missouri. This role centers on managing critical care needs within a fast-paced, specialty ICU setting where you’ll work nights and contribute to care that includes advanced procedures and therapies such as pressor support, ETT and trach care, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care with sterile technique, line insertion, paracentesis, bedside trach placement, bronchoscopy, and phlebotomy. You’ll also support dysrhythmia interpretation and management and be prepared to pass a Relias EKG exam as part of onboarding.

The assignment is designed for nurses who are ready to hit the ground running: 1.5+ years of ICU experience is required, with preference for MICU experience, and experience in a 20+ bed ICU is required. Floating may occur within the ICU service line as needed. Weekend coverage runs every other weekend, and required certifications include ACLS and BLS. Pending license acceptance is supported.
