Job Description:

This Medical Surgical RN role places you on a 29-bed unit within a prestigious Level IV Trauma Center, where you'll be caring for adult patients battling cancer, undergoing palliative care, or receiving treatments such as urology and telemetry. The assignment involves 12-hour day shifts, with a schedule that includes working every other weekend. As part of the team, you'll assist with complex procedures including central line draws, ports, blood administration, PCA pumps, and bone marrow aspirations. Experience with chemotherapy administration is preferred but not required; facility flexibility allows for floating within scope to meet patient care needs. Equipment and certifications such as BLS and ONCC/ONS are essential, and knowledge of telemetry equipment is vital. This contract offers a fulfilling opportunity to support patients through intensive treatments while exploring the vibrant Charleston area.
