Job Description:

Join us as a Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse in Boone, North Carolina, and experience a role that keeps you on your toes—floating between Intermediate, Stepdown, and MedSurg units based on patient volume. This dedicated float position involves 12-hour day shifts, with up to 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment. You'll be the go-to RN, ready to adapt to various units, working up to two weekends a month and participating in holidays within the contract. Expect to coordinate with recent Epic EMR experience and maintain a flexible approach to floating, with the opportunity to request blocked schedules. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of travel nursing experience, hold an active NC or Multistate license, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where every day offers new challenges—perhaps your day includes a well-earned coffee break amidst the patient interactions and unit rotations.
