Job Description:

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a bustling surgical setting with six operating rooms, a procedure room, and an endoscopy suite. You'll rotate between PreOp and PACU (Phases 1 & 2), managing a diverse patient population including both pediatric and adult cases. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for surgery, monitoring them post-operatively, and handling a variety of case types such as GYN, general, robotics, urology, ortho, ENT, and endoscopic procedures. Skilled in critical care competencies like managing hemodynamic drips, ventilated patients, and administering blood products, you’ll be an essential part of the perioperative team. The role emphasizes readiness to float across units, adapt to varying shift needs, and engage with advanced equipment like Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication systems. If you’re experienced in high-acuity environments and thrive in a fast-paced surgical suite, this assignment will keep you engaged and challenged.
