Job Description:

Join the team at Los Alamos Medical Center as a PACU RN for a 13-week contract working 8-hour day shifts. Your primary focus will be on adult patients recovering from surgical procedures such as appendectomies and gallbladder removals. This role offers a mix of scheduled day shifts with some on-call opportunities for night and weekend cases, giving you a chance to experience the unique rhythm of post-anesthesia care in a small, friendly hospital setting. You will be responsible for maintaining patient safety and comfort, managing care transitions, and working closely with support staff under the supervision of James Maxey. Prior PACU experience and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, along with at least two years of professional experience. Expect to work approximately 40 hours per week with a gross weekly pay of around $1,961.24.
