Job Description:

Join a prestigious medical center in Omaha for an engaging registered nurse contract focused on medical-surgical and telemetry float responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple units, including Neuro, Cardiology, Trauma, and Oncology, with the chance to float to various departments as needed. You'll be responding to the hospital's staffing needs while gaining diverse experience in a fast-paced, urban environment. Expect to handle drips, utilize EPIC charting, and collaborate with care teams comprising care techs, transport teams, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs at some locations. The shift is a 12-hour day schedule, providing a balanced workweek centered around critical care demands. This position combines clinical excellence with a touch of adventure—coming prepared for frequent floating, and working in a facility renowned for its complex patient cases and cutting-edge research.
