Job Description:

Join a prominent academic medical center in Winston-Salem as a Pediatric PACU Nurse. This fast-paced, all-hands-on-deck unit specializes in caring for pediatric patients post-surgery, with occasional adult cases. You'll manage patients with vents, IV drips like heparin and insulin, and monitor ICU-style vital signs, all while working 12-hour day shifts. The role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, with a team dedicated to supporting your success. Expect to collaborate closely with anesthesia, transporters, and department educators. This assignment is a great fit if you bring at least one year of critical care pediatric experience, are comfortable managing high-acuity cases, and thrive in a resourceful, team-oriented environment.
