Job Description:

Join a pediatric stepdown nursing team in Columbus, Ohio, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role involves caring for children with complex cardiac conditions, including post-operative patients and those with medical and surgical cardiac defects. You'll be working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, every other weekend, with day and night shifts alternating every six weeks. Expect to perform tasks such as managing Trachs, vents, high flow nasal cannula, and post-operative care following cardiac catheterizations or surgeries. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced staff in a specialized unit that handles heart and lung transplants, CTICU post-op patients, and inotropes. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your pediatric cardiac expertise in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
