Job Description:

This step-down Registered Nurse role offers an engaging 48-hour weekly commitment on a 12-hour night shift schedule. You'll be working on a specialized unit that is currently trialing team nursing, where pairs of nurses team up with a PCT to provide patient care, aiming to balance workload and enhance patient outcomes. Your daily activities include managing ventilator support, interpreting EKG strips, administering various drips such as insulin or heparin, and caring for patients with complex conditions like COPD, CHF, or post-COVID recovery. Experience with EPIC EHR, vent management, and the ability to interpret strips are essential. This assignment provides an opportunity to be part of an innovative care model in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
