Job Description:

Join a specialized step-down unit as a Registered Nurse with ICU experience, where you'll support patients across various critical care settings. This role involves floating across ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical units, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. You'll be responsible for managing non-titrating drips such as Amiodarone, NTG, Cardizem, Lopressor, and others, while adhering to a patient ratio of 1:4-5. Expect to work 12-hour daytime shifts on a 13-week contract, with orientation every Wednesday and every other weekend off. This assignment offers the chance to work with a diverse array of clinical situations in a stable, well-equipped environment, utilizing the Meditech EMR system. A valid South Carolina license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required, along with at least 50 miles radius from your residence. Previous travel experience is preferred, and you'll need to wear royal blue and white scrubs on shift. Be prepared to collaborate across various units and contribute your expertise in a fast-paced setting that emphasizes both teamwork and patient safety.
