Job Description:

This imply a pivotal role within a lively pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), where you'll be the go-to RN managing critical cases and supporting a diverse pediatric patient population. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed patient assessments, titrating infusions, and caring for ventilated children requiring advanced interventions. The setting offers the chance to utilize your PICU expertise, especially in managing complex cases like respiratory failure, circulatory shock, and multi-organ dysfunction. You'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including respiratory therapists, social workers, and pediatric intensivists, in a supportive environment that values growth and learning. The shift typically involves a 12-hour schedule with every other weekend work, and there's the possibility of on-call duties during low census times, adding a touch of unpredictability to keep things interesting.
