Job Description:

Join a MedSurg unit at Saint Luke's Meridian Medical Center in Meridian, Idaho, for a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse. This role involves providing care on a 6th-floor medical-surgical ward with 42 beds, handling patients with respiratory, GI, behavioral health issues, and more. You'll be responsible for interpreting tele strips, managing titratable drips like heparin and morphine, and working closely with charge nurses and patient care techs. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an expected commitment of 36 hours per week. Experience with EPIC EMR and at least 2 years of MedSurg experience are required. Travelers will be encouraged to precept and support new staff, with online and on-unit orientation included. This assignment offers a chance to work in a busy, collaborative environment with opportunities to float between units and neighboring facilities.
