Job Description:

Join our team as a professional registered nurse in an Intensive Care Unit located in Hastings, Nebraska. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts (7 AM to 7 PM) and provides the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those with DKA, COVID, CHF, and post-heart cath care. You'll be responsible for managing ventilated patients, administering titratable drips such as insulin and dopamine, and performing advanced procedures like art lines, PICC lines, and chest tubes. The role features a staffing ratio of 1:2, with at least two ICU RNs per shift, and the hospital boasts in-house hospitalist coverage 24/7. The assignment emphasizes autonomous patient management with minimal call requirements, ensuring a focus on focused, hands-on critical care experience in a supportive environment.
