Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU/ICU) at one of Shreveport's leading hospitals. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a high-acuity environment, managing adult surgical and medical ICU patients with complex diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, renal failure, and neuro conditions. Your expertise in ventilator management, intubation, CVL placement, and vasoactive drips will be vital, and you'll navigate an array of advanced equipment, including Arterial Lines and EVD drains. You'll have the opportunity to float to phases of care like PCU and MedSurg, surrounded by a supportive team with resources like RT and hospitalist support. This role involves 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with some holiday work, providing an immersive ICU experience that challenges and enhances your skills.
