Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac observation unit where you'll be vital in managing low acuity critical care patients, many awaiting transfer within the heart and vascular service lines. This role involves monitoring patients post-procedure, such as those with LVADs, arterial lines, and PA catheters, in a fast-paced, 24-hour, 12-hour night shift environment. Your focus will be on assessment, rhythm identification, and critical thinking to support patient stability and recovery, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience in cardiovascular care without ventilators or advanced therapies like Impellas. You'll work in a collaborative setting designed to sharpen your organization and critical care skills, with the added opportunity to learn about diverse cardiovascular diagnoses while providing essential observation and monitoring.
