Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in a Level 4 trauma center. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing patients in the Surgical Care Unit (SCU) during 12-hour night shifts, providing expert care and ensuring smooth transitions for your patients. This assignment involves procedures such as Central Line Insertion, Chest Tube Insertion, and Cardioversion. You'll work with specialized equipment like NICOM, Nihon Kohden monitors, and high-flow oxygen systems. This is a chance to apply your leadership skills in a supportive environment that values your experience and adaptability. Expect to work every third weekend, with a 48-hour weekly commitment over 13 weeks.
