Job Description:

Join Nebraska Medical Center as a Step Down Registered Nurse on night shifts, working 12-hour overnight shifts on a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients in a specialized 12-bed unit that bridges the gap between intensive care and progressive care. You'll collaborate with critical care intensivists and experienced nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to patients post-surgery, trauma, transplants, lung disorders, and ventilated cases. Expect to float frequently within your scope, including possible assignments at other hospital campuses. This position requires prior experience at large urban medical centers and active certifications including AHA BLS and ACLS, with CCRN or NIH certifications strongly preferred. The role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working in a facility that emphasizes safety and teamwork.
