Job Description:

Join a specialized Medical Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a Registered Nurse in Columbus, where you'll manage high-acuity patients with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic oncology diagnoses. This 36-bed telemetry unit offers a focused environment supporting pediatric patients occasionally, though pediatric experience isn't required. You'll be immersed in patient monitoring using B450 monitors, GE telemetry, and managing complex procedures such as chest tubes, trach care, and medication titrations. The shift is a 12-hour rotating schedule, providing varied work hours and the opportunity to experience different unit needs. This role is perfect for nurses with a minimum of two years of oncology experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting that emphasizes infection control and patient safety. Your expertise in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and advanced monitoring will be critical in providing top-tier care in this high-functioning unit.
