Job Description:

This 13-week contract invites experienced Registered Nurses to step into a specialized PCU role within a teaching hospital setting in Kansas City. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, providing care for cardiac patients in telemetry, step-down units, and post-surgical recovery areas. The role involves managing complex cardiac cases, interpreting dysrhythmias, and responding swiftly with rapid response teams when needed. Travelers should be comfortable floating between departments, including telemetry and IMC, to meet patient care demands. Certification in BLS and ACLS is required, along with a minimum of two years of cardiac experience. This assignment offers the unique chance to sharpen acute care skills at a Magnet-recognized facility and experience the vibrant city life on your days off.
