Job Description:

Join our team as a critical care nurse for a 13-week contract in Greenwood Village, CO, working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll provide specialized nursing support within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care (IMC) units, managing adult patients with a variety of complex medical conditions, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and surgical posts. You'll be responsible for titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and medications like Ativan and heparin, ensuring optimal patient management. The position offers the opportunity to float across multiple units within the zone, including several hospitals around Colorado Springs, requiring flexibility and steady adaptability. You'll be involved in patient monitoring, medication administration, and collaborating with charge nurses and other team members—all while experiencing the unique rhythms of the night shift in a vibrant healthcare setting.
