Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an engaging night-shift opportunity for Registered Nurses specializing in cardiac and telemetry units. Working from 7 PM to 7 AM, you will provide routine and complex care for adult patients in a non-stepdown setting. The role requires independent practice, with responsibilities including medication administration, patient assessment, and education. The assignment stands out for its focus on cardiac telemetry, the potential for temp-to-perm transition, and the chance to hone skills in a fast-paced environment while managing a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing. A BLS and ACLS certification, along with an active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state, are required.
